Ojos del Salado Ascent takes you into the heart of the Atacama Desert. The trip starts in Bahia Inglesa near Copiapo, from where we move forwards the Ojos del Salado volcano. Our Ojos del Salado Climbing expedition includes the necessary acclimatization process to maximize your potential to reach this high altitude summit.
Duration: 13-Day mountaineering expedition. Starting and ending in Bahía Inglesa (Copiapó, III Región, Chile)
Season: November to April
Participants: Small groups, up to a maximum of 12..
Difficulty: Demanding mountaineering program. The mountains are technically easy, but the altitude, the temperature and the wind could make the ascents quite strenuous.
